About This Artwork: First I drew these Dans with a Micron pen, but because of the kind of paper it was (it's hand made from Nepal) the ink did not take too well. Some parts did, and some did not. It was not consistent. So I went over the whole thing a 2nd time with Indian ink and a brush, but had to make sure it floated on top of the Micron ink or else it would bleed out. It tuned out to be a much harder task than I originally set out for.

This is one of the drawings I made out in Joshua Tree. I rented a house up against the National Park for 10 days that had a detached art studio. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been to. It was silent and peaceful and I managed to create a ton of work. THIS PIECE IS FRAMED.
