    I watched The Cool School four or five times this month, Netflix. Some nice old footage of L.A. There’s actually a scene in there of the exact view I had for a spell in 69 –looking west down the alley 1/2 block north of Windward Ave. I think it’s called Windward Place.

    ‘planes, trains & automobiles’ has GOT to be in my top 10. i should print this off and fill up my netflix cue, cuz i haven’t seen a bunch of these.

    i think ‘raising arizona’ is my all time fave, have you seen it?

    Hi Carol,
    I haven’t been to your blog in a while but seeing your movie list, I just knew I liked you for a reason :-). You should rent “Thank you for Smoking” if you haven’t yet. I loved the 7 up series too. An interesting albeit kookyish documentary “I like to kill flies” about a guy who owns a small diner in NYC and is a lovable curmudgeon.
