Things are improving overall. I’ve made a bit more progress on the painting I’ve been working on. I don’t have a title for it yet, so I’m just calling it the fishing boat painting.

Obsessed, Lazy, Confused

I’ve been obsessed with researching everything regarding my surgery and all things trans. I’m focused on healthily losing weight. (I have lots of attention on that one.) I’ve been making consultation appointments with various doctors for second and third opinions, figuring out my aftercare, What city it’s going to be in, etc. All of this, but I’m entirely lazy about getting back to art.

Animal, Mineral, Vegatable

I’ve always had a hard time fitting into boxes. Am I an abstract expressionist painter? Not quite and not consistently. Am I in the category of the Outsider artist or a self-taught artist? Not really. Neither of those titles describes art. They more or less describe an artist’s story. I’ve come to learn those are useless terms.
