I guess I should be promoting the upcoming Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours. It starts the first weekend in October, and I’m participating with artists Teresa Watson and Lili Todd. We are sharing Teresa’s studio near “downtown” Joshua Tree and will be there all three weekends: October 7th and 8th, 14th and 15th, and 21st and 22nd from 10 am to 5 pm.

Getting Busy Again

I know it’s early, but I’m already thinking about the Hwy 62 Open Studios Tours. It’s not until October, but I didn’t realize how much work there is to do to prepare. Not just making artwork but organizing and arranging stuff too. I find that I’m getting busy again.

Reject

Well, I should have known better than to get my hopes up for Skowhegan. That’s the most challenging place to get into. (More difficult than Harvard!) Maybe I shouldn’t have even applied, but I got my rejection letter on Monday.
