No Dogs. No Pets. No Meat.

I have been avoiding writing anything on my blog for a few reasons. One of them is that I’ve been sick. Sick like a dog. Like a lazy dog. All I do is sleep. It’s the flu. Is it? Is it depression? Probably. It’s both. It sucks. There is no dog here. And that’s okay. It is? Well, I guess.

So, we are thinking about adopting another dog–one that is a better fit for us. We will be receiving a home visit from one of the animal rescues I’ve been communicating with to see about possibly adopting a spaniel mix named Ruffles. Get it? Ruffles??

Lollygagging

Yeah, so it’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything again. Let’s face it. I’m just busy, even when I’m lollygagging. I’m never really dilly-dallying. I just think I am. I am always working. When I think something isn’t work, it really is work. It’s all work. It’s all part of it. It’s all the same. All roads lead to the same shit. And today I’m waiting for a new keyboard because this one is taking a dump. Some letters keep skipping and I have to keep going back and correcting all the spelling, even on the simplest words. Typing seems to be taking three times longer. The new keyboard should be arriving this afternoon.

I Feel A Change Comin’ On

Since I’ve been clogged, I’ve had my face smooshed against my computer monitor trying to carefully correct all the mistakes in my damn book, Shrapnel in the San Fernando Valley; I’m so incredibly embarrassed by the plethora of flaws that were there. My gawd! That’s what no sleep gets you.
