About This Artwork: This painting is about asking questions. When I got sick, I tried to make sense of things between my body and my mind and it shook the foundation of my belief system. Once I began to think differently, I wondered if I would eventually be shot down for my terrible sins, realizing finally that being sick or having a disease is not the fault of any person and is in fact out of our control.
