About This Artwork: The fourth in the series of my abstract aerial paintings in oil over the high desert in California. These are taken from actual maps, though they are strongly embellished for aesthetic effect. I work them as the paintings dictate or speak to me. This one was inspired by a map north of Hwy 62 west of Sunset.
