About This Artwork: There's a lot to say about this painting. This is done in garment patterns to spell the Hebrew word "slch" which means to forgive. I painted cartoon characters of family members asking for forgiveness. While I was painting it, I realized I was asking them for forgiveness as well as myself for holding in my anger for the things they've done. It's also a pivotal piece for me, stylistically, at the time.
