About This Artwork: There's a lot to say about this painting. I recently wrote about it on my blog: https://esart.com/blog/bygones-be-back/ This is done in garment patterns to spell the hebrew word "slch" which means to forgive. I painted cartoon characters of family members asking for forgiveness. While I was painting it, I realized I was asking them for forgiveness as well as myself for holding in my anger for the things they've done. It's also a pivotal piece for me stylistically, at the time.
