About This Artwork: When I was a kid, I went with my family to McDonald's. One particular time I was drinking my orange Hi-C and somehow got an ice cube lodged in my throat. I tried to tell my parents that I was choking as we were on our way back to the car in the McDonald's parking lot, but I could not speak because I was choking. I stood there gagging while my mom, dad and brother walked ahead of me to the car, leaving me behind. I had to wait for the ice cube to melt. When I got into the car with my family, I didn't even mention it.
