About This Artwork: This piece was an experimental endeavor in order to use the scrap pattern paper that came off of cutting manila garment pattern. This circle of scrap paper rises off the panel almost three inches and is mostly, carefully woven together. I also used some spray adhesive just in case of any falling debris, then fixed the pile with clear fixative so it would not wind up sticky. The numbers that are scraffito-ed into the painting are random, and the painting is supposed to represent a kind of infinity.
