About This Artwork: A play on the discovery of hereditary genes-how we inherit eye color from our parents parent, discovered by breeding peapods by Mendel in the 1800s. I thought maybe he was an ancestor of mine, but he is not. This painting was destroyed in a freak gallery accident in Nashville, TN.
