About This Artwork: I have wanted to cover a complete drum set with industrial pattern paper for a long time, but it is much more work than I counted on. For now, I have a snare drum on a stand. It ends up that most of the paper shreds must be glued on one strip at a time to cover all signs of chrome. The shreds come from many years of saving what naturally fell off the cutting table while cutting patterns. It was important to me to use the bi-product of what I used in my paintings.
