About This Artwork: I made this very fragile paper painting when I was on an artist's residency at the Vermont Studio Center. It was one of those things that came to me after meditating into blank walls for hours. I was thinking about my life and how I got to where I was in that moment--how I worked with cutting patterns my whole life and ultimately became an artist, and now, how I saw myself in this place: a strong, creative girl, but a fool nonetheless. This piece is framed.
