About This Artwork: This watercolor and gouache was also done during "Sketchfest." I did this little pile of dogs quickly and I like how it turned out because 1) I love doggies and 2) some of them turned out to be rather sweet, don't you think? My life would not have been the same if dogs weren't in part of my world. I have learned a lot from them because they have no real expectations of you, so you can never disappoint them. They love you unconditionally. This is an ability that human beings just don't have. It's one of the reasons that they are truly your best friends, bring you joy, and make you live longer. The relationships you have with them are like no other. I have been blessed with having the privilege of getting to know a lot of wonderful dog souls.
