About This Artwork: Dan is a nondescript animal. Is he a dog? A cat? A horse? Perhaps it is two people in an animal suit. No one really knows for sure. You will find that he seems to feel indifferent in all situations, yet he will bring cheer to those around him. Dan does not talk, but he will speak in colors or stripes at times. He will sometimes appear in different colors, but his natural color is yellow ochre with a dash of raw umber. He likes to eat celery and brownie bits, but not at the same time. You may have noticed that Dan doesn't have any knees. This really does not bother him.
