About This Artwork: Part of my abstract aerial paintings over the high desert near Joshua Tree, CA. These are taken from actual maps, though they are strongly embellished for aesthetic effect. I work them as the paintings dictate or speak to me. This one was inspired by a map south of Hwy 62 toward the Joshua Tree National Park up Quail Springs Road.
