About This Artwork: The third in the series of my abstract aerial paintings over the high desert in California. These are taken from actual maps, though they are strongly embellished for aesthetic effect. I work them as the paintings dictate or speak to me. This one was inspired by a map north of Hwy 62 over Border Street in Joshua Tree.
