About This Artwork: A neighborhood with make-shift garment patterns, a red, melting spiral, upside-down rainbows, and rocks from Joshua Tree make this painting a landscape of the poetic ghetto in my mind. At the top of a hill, a flower windmill pumps electricity into the village so that Bunny Guy and a young Calvin can survive on hot meals and air conditioning. There is no television in the poetic ghetto.
