About This Artwork: Robin the Cat is named after someone I know who needs more joy in his life. He is also a wonderful person and cat-like character that seems to be in a contented disposition about the things that make him sad. I make him with a wide, open smile so that he can swallow happiness, and here he is growing out of a garment pattern like machine that makes little rainbows, kind of like the Play-doh Fun Factory. This seems to make him happy and the purpose of this painting is to make others happy as well.
