About This Artwork: This began as a sort of therapy piece. A painting I would do to get out some angst I had about my painful past. I started it in, or around 2011, but after the composition was laid, I put it away for a while and forgot about it.

When I brought it back out, I decided to work on it upside down and address my issues through the paint instead of the composition. This became a much more abstract "one-off" kind of painting and I felt much better about my past issues in the end.
