About This Artwork: I created this painting on a handmade panel created by Elizabeth Hoffman. She constructed it and painted the stripes. I consider this a kind of collaboration of sorts. I left the stripes and added pattern pieces in fabric, three--on purpose, as we did a 3-person show at Gallery 5 in downtown LA about three girlfriends living a long distance apart from each other, but having a strong bond nonetheless. The writing on here is a story about missing my friend after she moved away.
